You may be familiar with sponsorships or influencer partnerships. While those models often focus on visibility or follower numbers, our approach is different. A Blackpool Dance Store ambassador is someone we genuinely align with – a dancer whose values, commitment and mindset reflect what we stand for as a specialist dance retailer.
Our ambassadors are not chosen because of rankings, titles or audience size. They are chosen because of belief, determination and a genuine drive to succeed in dance.
What Being a Blackpool Dance Store Ambassador Means
A Blackpool Dance Store ambassador is someone we support and collaborate with as they progress through their dance journey.
This may include wearing Blackpool Dance Store or Infinity Dancewear at selected competitions, and sharing aspects of their dance life such as training, practice, preparation and competitions.
We are interested in dancers who naturally enjoy sharing their journey, rather than those who feel pressure to perform for social media.
Who We Look For
We do not select ambassadors based on height, build, age category or competition results.
Instead, we look for dancers who demonstrate commitment to their training and preparation, passion for ballroom and Latin dance, pride in their presentation both on and off the floor, and a positive, genuine approach to sharing their journey.
Many of our ambassadors are at early or developing stages of their careers. Others are already competing regularly. What matters most to us is attitude and intent, not status.
Competition-Specific Ambassadorships
From time to time, Blackpool Dance Store runs competition-specific ambassador searches, such as dressing a dancer for a particular championship or major event.
These ambassadorships are usually focused on a single competition. However, where a strong relationship develops, an ambassadorship may naturally extend beyond that initial event.
Each search is announced individually, with clear criteria and timelines.
A Long-Term Perspective
We view ambassadorships as collaborations, not transactions.
Our aim is to support dancers we believe in, celebrate their progress, and build meaningful relationships where possible. Some ambassadors remain connected with Blackpool Dance Store well beyond their initial partnership.

Blackpool Dance Store does not run continuous ambassador recruitment.
When opportunities arise, details are shared through our official channels. We encourage dancers and parents to familiarise themselves with our values and approach so that, when applications are invited, they can decide whether the partnership feels like the right fit.
