Flavia Dance Skirt — a made-to-order six-panel Latin/practice skirt in Chrisanne Clover Matt Lycra, finished in Blackpool.

Six shaped panels give a full, fluid flare. Between the panels sit six cascading waterfall flounces in your chosen colour — match them to the skirt for a classic look (all black, all white, and so on), or pick a second colour for contrast. The hem is finished with a thick lettuce hem (a multi-pass overlocked edge with a soft cord effect), always matched to the flounce colour so the line stays clean all the way round.

Waist
Tie a string round the narrowest part of the body and let it settle. Measure there.
Hips
Around the fullest part of the hips and seat, feet together.
Skirt lengths
From the waist string to the hem. Ballroom sits on the lower calf; Classical finishes about 5cm above the ankle bone.
